Ways to Reach Voters:

DISPLAY WINDOW OR YARD SIGN
Display a campaign sign in your window or yard and ask your neighbors to do the same.

STAIR-MASTER TEAM
Get fresh air and exercise putting flyers on doors. Feel good about your workout as you help inform voters about the change we need at City Hall. You won’t knock on doors or talk to strangers. Climb the stairs and leave a flyer on the door while listening to music or a podcast. The StairMaster Team gets our message into the hands of voters while saving expensive mailing costs. You are the superheroes of the campaign!

VISIBILITY TEAM
No walking or stair climbing required. Hand out flyers at farmer’s markets, grocery stores, and bus stops. You’ll help us reach voters where they’re at. You can also hold a campaign sign at street intersections and wave to cars as they go by.

MEET & GREET HOST
Host a “Meet & Greet” in your living room, backyard, or garage with Joel. It’s a great way to get to know your neighbors and be informed voters. Keep it simple. Just gather a few people and Joel will show up to hear your concerns and talk about the future of our city.

SOCIAL MEDIA TEAM
Amplify the campaign’s messages on Nextdoor, Facebook, and Twitter. Pick the social media platforms you are most comfortable with. We will give you directions and talking points for what to say and when. The social media team is essential because you will reach and inform more voters than any other method.

DOOR KNOCK TEAM
Walk house-to-house and tell voters about the campaign. We’ll provide a script and the addresses. Leave a flyer on the door when no one is home.

TELEPHONE TEAM
Volunteer from your easy chair by calling voters in your neighborhood to tell them about the campaign. We’ll provide a script and the phone numbers.

BLOCK CAPTAIN
Serve as a campaign captain for your block or neighborhood. Choose your level of involvement. Could be as little as offering your front porch or garage as a rendezvous location for canvassers to pick up flyers. Or you could agree to organize your neighborhood to get out the vote. We will train you and provide all the materials you need.
